Product description
An evergreen shrub with a flattened habit, reaching about 1.1 m in height and 1.3 m in width at the age of 10. Dense shoots, elliptical leaves, light green and shiny. Two-color flowers - light pink inside, purple-pink on the edge. The flowers are large, collected in spherical inflorescences on the tops of the shoots. Blooms profusely in May and June.
Rhododendrons should be planted in permeable, acidic soil (pH 4.5 - 6.0), slightly moist (you can also purchase a special substrate for rhododendrons in most garden stores). It is best to choose semi-shaded positions, sheltered from the wind.
Due to the shallow root system, even old rhododendron specimens can be transplanted to another place if necessary. We can also successfully grow them in pots. Pruning should be limited to spring cutting out dead or diseased shoots and removing faded inflorescences.
