A new, licensed, promising raspberry variety with a wide range of applications. It grows moderately strongly, reaching about 1.5 m in height at the age of 10. Dark green leaves fall in winter. Medium-sized, melliferous, cream-colored flowers. Early variety, bears fruit earlier than 'Polka', the first fruits ripen at the end of July. Fruiting is very abundant - from one shoot you can collect about 1 kg of fruit. It blooms on annual shoots, repeats fruiting. The fruits are firm, large, bright red and shiny, they easily detach from the peduncle, they are characterized by a unique taste throughout the entire harvest period. They are very sweet and rich in vitamins. They are also characterized by high durability, they do not darken after harvesting. Resistant to fungal diseases and shoot dieback.

Raspberries are frost-resistant and easy to grow. They grow best on fertile, moist and humus soils with an acid reaction. The Delniwa variety is especially recommended for cultivation in home gardens, for raw consumption and for the production of preserves. Due to its characteristics, it also promises well as an industrial variety. After harvest, we cut out the shoots that bear fruit. We recommend planting at a spacing of 3.5 x 0.5 m.

What does raspberry fruit contain?

Raspberries have rich health properties for our body. Fruits contain organic acids (e.g. citric, malic, salicylic, ellagic), pectins, sugars, volatile aroma compounds, as well as a lot of vitamins (e.g. C, E, B1, B2, B6) and elements (potassium, iron, magnesium, calcium). The leaves contain tannins, flavonoids, organic acids and mineral juices, which is why they are often used to prepare infusions and teas.

Among the many health-promoting properties of raspberries, a few of the most important can be mentioned:

• anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, calming effect
• lowering blood pressure
• strengthening the immune system
• protection against free radicals
• menstrual pain relief
