A shrub with stiff, spreading shoots and a compact habit, reaching about 1.3 m in height and 1.2 m in width at the age of 10. The leaves are copper-green, shiny and slightly hairy. When they mature, they turn green, and in autumn they turn brown-red, and fall in the winter. Golden-orange flowers with wavy petals on the edges, clustered in 8-15 pieces in hemispherical inflorescences on the tops of the shoots. The diameter of a single flower is 6-8 cm. It blooms reliably and profusely in May and June.

Deciduous Azalea need an acidic and permeable substrate - a mixture of acidic peat or composted soil, sand and bark will work well. They lose their leaves in the winter, so they do not dry out or freeze in winter. They are completely frost-resistant in our climate and do not require any winter protection. Azaleas prefer sun or semi-shade positions. They look impressive planted both individually and in a group, in the company of other heather plants - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers.
