Product description
A shrub with stiff shoots and a spreading habit, reaching about 1.6 m in height and 1.8 m in width at the age of 10. Juicy green leaves fall in winter. Large, orange-red, jagged flowers with bright spots on the upper petal. Collected in spherical inflorescences on the tops of shoots. It blooms reliably and profusely in May. It looks impressive planted both individually and in a group, in the company of other heath plants - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers.
Deciduous Azalea need an acidic and permeable substrate - a mixture of acidic peat or composted soil, sand and bark will work well. They lose their leaves in the winter, so they do not dry out or freeze in winter. They are completely frost-resistant in our climate and do not require any winter protection. Azaleas prefer sun or semi-shade positions.
