Product description

A shrub with stiff shoots and a loose habit, reaching about 1.5 m in height and 1 m in width at the age of 10. Leaves with delicate hairs, dark green. They turn brown in the fall and fall off in the winter. The plant large, intense red flowers. Gathered in hemispherical inflorescences on the tops of shoots. It blooms reliably and profusely in May and June.

Deciduous Azalea need an acidic and permeable substrate - a mixture of acidic peat or composted soil, sand and bark will work well. They lose their leaves in the winter, so they do not dry out or freeze in winter. They are completely frost-resistant in our climate and do not require any winter protection. Azaleas prefer sun or semi-shade positions. They look impressive planted both individually and in a group, in the company of other heather plants - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers.
