Product description

A shrub with stiff shoots and a loose, spreading habit, reaching about 1.8 m in height and 1.4 m in width at the age of 10. The leaves are juicy-green, glossy, turning burgundy/yellow in autumn, and fall in winter. The flowers are delicately fragrant, 5-7 cm in diameter, orange in the bud, yellow when opened, with a slight pinkish tint, collected in spherical inflorescences at the tops of the shoots. It blooms reliably and profusely in May and June.

Deciduous Azalea need an acidic and permeable substrate - a mixture of acidic peat or composted soil, sand and bark will work well. They lose their leaves in the winter, so they do not dry out or freeze in winter. They are completely frost-resistant in our climate and do not require any winter protection. Azaleas prefer sun or semi-shade positions. They look impressive planted both individually and in a group, in the company of other heather plants - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers.
