Product description

A shrub with stiff shoots and a regular, bushy habit. It grows strongly, reaching about 2 m in height and a similar width at the age of 10. The leaves are large, dark green, turn yellow in autumn and fall in winter. Large flowers (up to 9 cm in diameter), yellow-pink in bud, creamy-white when opened, with a large golden pattern on the upper petal. The flowers are gathered in spherical inflorescences at the tops of the shoots. Blooms profusely in May and June. It looks impressive planted both individually and in a group, in the company of other heath plants - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers.

Deciduous Azalea need an acidic and permeable substrate - a mixture of acidic peat or composted soil, sand and bark will work well. They lose their leaves in the winter, so they do not dry out or freeze in winter. They are completely frost-resistant in our climate and do not require any winter protection. Azaleas prefer sun or semi-shade positions.
