Product description
Novelty!
A variety with very tasty, miniature kiwi-like fruits, which are not only tasty, but also healthy - they contain almost four times more vitamin C than lemon or orange. Self-pollinating variety - does not require an additional pollinator to bear fruit. It is a climber that grows best near supports - fences, nets, pergolas, building walls. It grows up to 4 meters, blooms at the turn of May and June, and the fruits appear about 2 years after planting, at the turn of September and October. The diameter of the fruit is usually 2.5 cm, the flesh is light green, very juicy and sweet. Flowers are cream-white.
Actinidia prefers fertile, permeable and moist soils, a sunny or semi-shaded position. The plant, should be protected from the wind. You can keep the soil moist by mulching it with e.g. bark. It tolerates cutting well. Frost resistance approx. -15 ºC.
Fruits are used as a general strengthening and analgesic, they support the work of the intestines and stomach. They are great for preserves, for drying, for cakes and desserts.
